Top Consumer Finance Apps on Android in Mexico: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Mexico showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

BBVA México maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads beginning at approximately 161K in early October and ending the year around 146K. Active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at 17.4M in early December before tapering off to 16.3M by the end of the quarter.

Nu experienced a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 127K and dipping to 99K in November before recovering to 119K at year-end. Active users displayed growth, moving from 5M to over 5.3M, with notable increases in October and December.

Banco Azteca showed stable performance in downloads, averaging around 100K weekly. Active user numbers were consistent, with a slight peak in early December at over 6.2M, though dipping slightly to 5.8M by quarter's end.

Banco del Bienestar Móvil saw a dramatic increase in downloads, especially in late November, surging to over 230K weekly. Active users also spiked significantly, reaching nearly 6.9M in early December, before declining to roughly 2.5M by the end of December.

BanCoppel experienced a gradual decline in downloads from 98K to 80K over the quarter. However, active users saw a rebound, ending the quarter at nearly 4.9M, up from 4.7M at the start.
